With a specialization in the utilization of creative arts in therapy, Gabriella works to help clients learn cope in adaptive ways, heal longstanding wounds, and establish patterns for sustainable long term functioning.​

Artists and Creatives

Gabriella's work of helping clients deepen connection to their creative work is heavily informed by her background as a psychotherapist and social emotional arts facilitator, as well as by her personal experiences as an artist.

​

Having worked with a variety of painters, filmmakers, composers, dancers, poets, fabricators, printers, singers, musicians, illustrators, crafters, photographers, and more, Gabriella's work builds on existing strengths and resources- utilizing a client's creativity to help them enact change and explore new dimensions of both themselves and their work.

Neurodiversity Affirming Care

Utilizing a deep understanding of the ways in which unsupported neurological differences can lead to lasting impact on an individuals functioning and self esteem, Gabriella's work offers a educational foundation for radical self compassion.

Through education and skill building, Gabriella's work explores the ways in which clients have been impacted by their neurology and they ways in which they can be supported, accommodated, and celebrated.

Psychiatric Recovery

Often focusing on establishing patterns for long term, sustainable mental wellbeing, this work involves education and foundation building.

Drawing on harm reduction, social emotional arts, trauma informed, and somatic approaches, clients will process experiences and emotions, process unresolved grief and trauma, and facilitate integration of experience.

Through exploring individual client needs and building an understanding around unique needs and resources, this work takes a inclusive, non-pathologizing approach to mental health conditions such as ADHD, ASD, Bipolar Spectrum, Borderline Personality Disorder, Mood Disorders, Complex PTSD, and more.

Approach

With a decade of experience in various Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient mental health settings, Gabriella's expertise includes working with complex trauma, treating mental health conditions from a inclusive, non-pathologizing framework,​​ medication management and utilizing creative approaches in therapy.

 

 Her work focuses on ​integrating modalities such as expressive parts, harm reduction, neurobiological integration, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, community resiliency, trauma informed care, and social emotional learning.

​

Many of my clients have been through therapy before or have struggled to maintain their mental health long term and are looking for a different approach.
